Family Photography Hollowell, Northamptonshire
Some lovely family photography of 15 year old Maya and 4 year old Eva from Hollowell in Northamptonshire. Mum visited the studio about 18 months ago to have her youngest child Atticus photographed as a baby and always intended to pop back to have her two older children’s portraits taken at a later stage.
It’s always very flattering to have a client return to the studio and it was fab to see how much, the not so, little Atticus had grown!
Dad had popped along to the shoot too with the intention that he could take Atticus home after we’d got a few family portraits. However, although the group portraits were as lively and fun as ever, the power of the tablet/phone kept little man entertained whilst we moved onto capturing the girl’s individual portraits.
4 year old Evangeline was first up to have her portraits taken and was an absolute natural in from of the camera. She was very natural and relaxed which allowed me to get a wonderful variety of images that captured many sides of her smily, cheeky character.
Next up was 15 year old Maya who wasn’t so keen. As many most teenagers, Maya was understandably a little more self conscious than her younger sister but she really had no reason to be. She looked truly stunning!
I like to think that my very informal and unposed approach to portraiture helps the more self conscious children relax and be themselves.
Overall a massive thanks to Mum, Dad and of course Maya, Eva and Atticus, for such a wonderfully relaxed family portrait shoot. Massive thanks for popping along to our studio and really looking forward to presenting you with the full set of images at your viewing.
